Discount Tickets for UBS Members to Indigenous at The State Room April 4th!!

A reminder that your UBS has discount tickets available for this Monday's April 4th show of Indigenous at The State Room. They will be playing two sets starting at 8 p.m.! We've also made it even easier to purchase these discount tickets: Just go to our UBS website (utahbluessociety.org) and on the upper right of the page is "Purchase Discount Tickets." Select Indigenous from the drop down box (you can also order tickets to Curtis Salgado on June 3rd) where you'll be able to purchase as many tickets as you'd like. You then just show up and give your name at Will Call when you arrive at The State Room. The show will undoubtedly sell out and it's a great venue to see them!

As one of today's premier guitarists, Indigenous front man Mato Nanji has captivated audiences with his Vaughan and Hendrix-like prowess since coming on the scene with his family band's award-winning debut album "Things We Do" in 1998. The blues world immediately took notice of the young native musicians from the Yankton Sioux Reservation in South Dakota -- a spot on the 1999 B.B. King Blues Tour; their 2000 sophomore release Circle produced by Stevie Ray Vaughan's co-songwriter Doyle Bramhall; a 2002 invitation from the Hendrix Estate to join the Experience Hendrix Tour - for which Nanji is still a roster member of the guitar legends paying tribute to the legacy of Jimi Hendrix. A "don't miss" show!

This Thursday, March 17, it's the rockin' sacred steel of Roosevelt Collier & Jellybread at The State Room!  Your UBS isn't a formal sponsor of this event but we'll be in attendance so stop by, become a Member if not already, and you'll also be able to purchase advance, discounted tickets for upcoming TSR shows like Indigenous (4/4) and Curtis Salgado (6/3).  If you're a blues lover, you'll love this show so join us!
