The Eric Heideman Band

Eric Heideman is a 22-year-old blues musician from Salt Lake City, Utah. In recent years, his music has been played on the KRCL radio show “Red White and Blues”, and he's been interviewed on the show Radioactive. In addition to playing over 13 local venues, Heideman performed at the 2022 Utah Blues Festival alongside some of the top blues artists in the world. This fiery young performer is being mentored by JW-Jones, winner of Best Guitarist at the 2020 International Blues Challenge, and was invited to perform with Jones in Las Vegas in October 2021. Eric Heideman will record his breakthrough record in 2022 with a team of Grammy, Blues Music Award, and International Blues Challenge winners. Producers Mike Zito and JW-Jones along with master engineer David Farrell will bring their award-winning talents to Dockside Studios in Maurice, Louisiana.  "This is going to be my most exciting release yet, and I am thrilled to work with such a critically acclaimed team," says Heideman. "I am going to make the most soulful and high-quality record I've made, and in a big studio where legends like B.B. King, Junior Wells, Dr. John, Taj Mahal, Mavis Staples, Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits), Derek Trucks, and Leon Russell have recorded. The list of artists that have made big records there is incredible." Co-Producer JW-Jones says "Mike Zito and I are going to bring out the very best of Eric's abilities. I have been working with him weekly for over eighteen months and he's just getting better and more refined every session. I can't wait for music fans to hear this breakthrough release!" Eric graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Guitar Performance where he studied under and played with Grammy-nominated Artist Kris Johnson.
